ASSESS Initiative

ASSESS is a broad reaching multi-industry initiative to expand significantly the use and business benefit of software tools for performing model-based analysis, simulation, and systems engineering in the engineering applications domain.

ASSESS Initiative
  • Increasing awareness that Simulation is the key enabler to Increased Competitiveness
  • Expand the use and benefit of software tools for model-based analysis, simulation, and systems engineering
  • Targeted revolution in software technologies across the full spectrum of industries, applications and users
ASSESS Background
  • Formed by intrinSIM and Cyon Research to bring together key players to guide strategies for software tools
  • Intersecting design and engineering with complex decisions regarding strategies, politics, infrastructure
  • Driving forces in product, process, and systems engineering
ASSESS Summit 2015
  • Leading thinkers of our industry, and people of substantial influence with the power to effect change
  • Identify and resolve issues in simulation software as we move forward and face new and complex challenges.
  • Prioritize our issues in software simulation and start the conversation that cooperation benefits the community
  • Attended by “who's who” of the CAE and engineering software industry
ASSESS Congress 2016
  • 85 participants to further review the current status, issues, goals of the ASSESS Initiative
  • Direct development in expanding the practical scope of software for model-based analysis
  • Induce a “revolution” to overcome the expertise based limitation to expansion
  • Focus on developing engineering simulation environments for experiencing real-time multi-physical response simulations
ASSESS Congress 2017
  • The 2nd annual ASSESS Congress to be held Nov 1st-3rd, 2017 at the Bolger Center in Potomac, MD
  • Organized to help shape the industry and product strategies for the next decade related to significantly expanded usage of and benefit from Analysis, Simulation and Systems Engineering Software technologies.
  • Registration for the ASSESS 2017 Congress is limited to 150 attendees
