2014 is half over in the blink of an eye.
The first half of 2014 has been a very exciting and busy time for intrinSIM with attendance at multiple marketing events, exciting updates from our technology partners, expanding of our resource network, and dramatically expanding our services offerings.
I had the honor & pleasure of sparking interesting discussions as a Plenary speaker at the recent 3D CIC / NAFEMS Americas conference in Colorado Springs when I gave a presentation on "The Changing Role of Simulation". Datakit participates in the Standards & Interoperability PLM Project
Datakit is actively participating in the Standards & Interoperability PLM project organized as part of the IRT SystemX, launched in late 2013. This project focuses on the harmonization of PLM solutions and processes in the manufacturing industry.
 Datakit provides its expertise in interoperability focused on CAD data, high skills in data exchange standards (especially STEP definition and use), and active participation in forums working on these standards providing frameworks for their development and deployment.

IronCAD announces the availability of KeyShot for IronCAD.
 KeyShot for IronCAD enables users to create 3D models quickly and then, at a push of a button, generate stunning visuals for communication and collaboration. Using Luxion's LiveLinking™ technology, IronCAD users create product designs and then work with them directly in KeyShot while maintaining assembly structure and model appearance.
KeyShot for IronCAD runs on the recent released IronCAD 2014 with all the IronCAD products and is available immediately to all IronCAD customers here.

 Optimal Solutions Software announces the release of Sculptor version 3.5. Working closely with their customers to identify features and improvements, they have made Sculptor easier to use and more powerful than ever. This release of Sculptor also brings with it dramatically enhanced Mesh Matching functionality with Sculptor+ Match.
Sculptor version 3.5 offers several enhancements to Sculptor's ability to reuse 3D data for creating better designs by leveraging the highly efficient Arbitrary Shape Deformation (ASD) real-time morphing technology.

Jotne licenses VCollab Technology for AP209 Viewing
Jotne and VCollab have cooperated to support AP209e2 data by VCollab's solution suite for visualization and interrogation of CAE and CAD models. This innovative visualization solution has already been integrated into Jotne's Open
Simulation Data Management product, SimDM, where it will help SimDM users make better and faster design decisions. VCollab also plans to offer a stand-alone AP209 converter as VMove AP209.
